Condé Nast Traveller has named San Sebastian the world’s fifth top destination in its 26th annual Readers’ Choice Awards. The Basque city shares fifth position with Charleston in the USA. Condé Nast calls the city the culinary capital of Europe, claiming that, “all you need to do is eat, eat and eat!” San Sebastian was the highest placed Spanish city in the poll, followed by Seville at number 20 and Barcelona at number 25.
